We would like for you to meet Rhoda, the little miracle.
Rhoda was a feral cat living in a managed feral colony that we sponsor. In the middle of March of this  year, Rhoda was hit/ran over by a car right next to her home. Thankfully, someone called 311 & CACC came out right away to get her. When we were notified we contacted her caregivers right away. They rushed right over to get Rhoda & brought her directly to the vet for treatment. Rhoda didn't have any use of her back legs. However, in her xrays it didn't show any spinal injuries. In an effort to give Rhoda a chance and in hopes that she would regain the use of her back legs eventually, she was brought home and was put on cage rest. During this time, Rhoda has become extremely friendly, but unfortunately, still has not regained the use of her back legs.

Rhoda is just over a year old and has a vivacious spirit and is an extremely loving girl. She loves life and is not letting her "handicap" slow her down. She plays, seeks out attention, and will keep up with the best of them. For all these reasons, it just would not be right to euthanize her. Therefore, we are trying to help find Rhoda a forever home. Rhoda does need to be expressed both bladder and bowl. Once she is expressed she wears a diaper for a few hours or overnight to help keep any bacteria infections away. Normally, we only adopt locally, but we will open it up for the right person for this little special little girl. Potential adopters must have experience with this and have a stellar vet history. If you are interested in meeting or adopting Rhoda, please contact us. Love knows no disabilities. We know that Rhoda's special family is out there. Let's find Rhoda a home today!
