Our Mission
At Whiskers & Tails Rescue Foundation, our mission is twofold: to rescue and find loving homes for adoptable cats in need, and to implement effective Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) programs for feral cats in our community. We are dedicated to improving the lives of all cats, promoting responsible pet ownership, and advocating for their well-being.
Through our commitment to cat welfare, we strive to provide a second chance to homeless, abandoned, and neglected cats. We rescue these feline friends, providing them with the necessary medical care, rehabilitation, and love they deserve. Our goal is to find each cat a safe and loving forever home, where they can thrive and experience the joy of being a cherished companion.
In addition to our adoption efforts, we recognize the importance of addressing the needs of feral cat populations in our community. We implement humane and effective TNR programs, which involve trapping feral cats, providing necessary veterinary care, including spaying/neutering, and returning them to their original habitats. By stabilizing feral cat populations through TNR, we prevent future generations from suffering and promote the coexistence of cats and humans.
Education and community outreach are fundamental to our mission. We strive to raise awareness about responsible pet ownership, the benefits of adoption, and the significance of TNR in managing feral cat colonies.
