We are proud to announce that Whiskers & Tails Rescue Foundation is the first rescue organization within the City of Chicago that strictly focuses on TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) & TNA (Trap-Neuter-Adopt)

What Does Whiskers & Tails Rescue Foundation Do?

Whiskers & Tails Rescue Foundation is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, dedicated to reducing the suffering and overpopulation of feral and stray free roaming community cats through practicing Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR). We also practice Trap-Neuter-Adopt (TNA) to any adoptable cat. We believe, as a community, it is our obligation to come together and be the difference in community cats’ lives.

Coming Together As A Community, To Help The Community

First and foremost, community cats are just that, a part of the community. Cats have been living amongst people and in communities for more than 10,000 years. Cats were considered sacred in ancient Egyptian society. Praised for controlling vermin and its ability to kill snakes such as cobras, the domesticated cat became a symbol of grace and poise. These are still one of the many benefits of the modern day feral cat. It's time to give back and take care of our community cats because they are one of us. It is our mission to help educate and work WITH the community to practice Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) and to inform them of all the benefits that come along with it.
