Saturday, July 9th & Sunday, July 10th we will be at the street festival West Fest (held in the West town/Ukrainian Village neighborhood). Our booth will be located on WOLCOTT ave, just south of Chicago Ave. Stop by our booth to say Hi and to pick up some awesome cat toys that your cats will go crazy for and/or to grab some Whiskers & Tails swag so you can be the trendiest fashionista amongst all of your friends and furends! We can't wait to see you! We will be there from 12:00pm - 6:00pm both days. Thank you! Alright everyone! Hold on to your seats, we are soo excited to announce our next FUN-rasier!
We are auctioning off Four (4) Cree Lighting Club tickets to the Cubs vs Giants, Saturday, Sept 10th 1:20pm game. The ticket value for these are $1400!
What do you get with that? Well let us tell you. These tickets include:
ALL INCLUSIVE
cocktails, beer, wine, non-alcoholic drinks along with a high-end buffet (Did you know that Wrigley field has the highest beer costs of all the stadiums coming in over $10 per beer?! with these tix you can drink as much as you want and eat as much as you want)
Climate-controlled private indoor and outdoor (covered) padded seating with amazing views of the field (behind 3rd base above sections 106 & 107 at suite level)
Guests will have access to the club 2 hours before the game begins and 30 minutes after the game (Say what?! Yes, you read that right)
The auction will go LIVE on Wednesday July, 20th at 10:00am and will end on Wednesday July, 27th at 8:00pm. We will also have a "Buy it now" option.

Halloween is our favorite time of year!!! We just love seeing all of the cute pets dressed up as Ghosts, Goblins, Unicorns, and in their fancy Halloween ties, you name it we love it. We are squeaking with glee just thinking about it. Therefore, back by popular demand, we are having our 3rd annual Halloween Pet Costume Photo contest!!!
Photo entries are being accepted NOW! There is a $5.00 donation per photo entry. You may enter as many pets as you like, but please only 1 photo of the same pet, group pet photos are accepted.

Our dedicated volunteer will weave magical tales that will transport children to captivating worlds of imagination and adventure. Starting at 10:00 am, this free event promises to be a delightful morning filled with imagination and cherished memories. Don't miss out on the fun!

Join Whiskers & Tails Rescue Foundation for a magical day of creativity and imagination at our "Young Picassos: Painting Masterpieces" event! Designed exclusively for children of all ages (babies and up), this engaging and colorful gathering celebrates the joy of artistic expression and encourages young minds to unleash their inner artists. We will provide you with a 16x20 blank canvas and we will have an assortment of child safe, non-toxic paint colors for you to choose from to dip your child's hands and/or feet into. There will be several painter drop cloths scattered through out the grassy area to allow for enough room for people with their children to paint their one of a kind master pieces. There will also be kiddie pools set up to allow you to wash your child's hands & feet afterwards. This is sure to be a fun event as always! We advise you to pre-purchase your tickets to ensure you have a spot since we will only have a limited amount of canvases. You can arrive anytime from the hours of 11:00am - 1:00pm. We ask that the latest you arrive is 12:30pm, as the event ends at 1:00pm and we wouldn't want you to rush your little artist at work. We will be holding this fundraising event outside in the grassy area in Humboldt Park by little Cubs field right by the socceer field. Can't make it? We will be having a adoption event with some of our kitties and cats that are currently available for adoption. You will be able to meet & greet, play, kiss and hug every single one of them. Whiskers & Tails is about finding the purrfect matches and this is a great opportunity for you to find the one(s).
Please note that in order to take a kitten, cat or bonded pair home that day you MUST submit an adoption application and have it approved BEFORE the event. We do NOT do same day adoptions. Please be sure to send in your application within at least 5 days prior to the event, even earlier would be better. If you are interested in a specific cat or bonded pair, please state the cat's name(s) on your application.

Back by popular demand again this year, it's time for our "Paw Painting" fundraiser, where your dogs are the artists & they create their own one of a kind art piece.This event is a wonderful way to commemorate your love for your pet in a furever lasting sentimental way. This event is held outside in the grassy area in Humboldt Park by little Cubs field. We will provide you with a 16x20 blank canvas and will have an assortment of pet safe, non-toxic paint colors for you to choose from to dip your pet's paws into. There will be painter drop cloths scattered throughout the grassy area to allow for enough room for people with their dogs to paint their masterpieces. There will also be doggie pools set up so you can wash your dog's paws afterwards. Please note that sometimes the paint will leave your dog's paw pads or hair stained, but it will go away in a couple of days. This is ALWAYS a pet-tastic time and is one of our most popular events! We advise you to pre-purchase your tickets to ensure you have a spot since we will have a limited amount of canvas. You can arrive anytime from the hours of 10:00am - 1:30pm. We ask that the latest you arrive is 1:30pm, as the event ends at 2:00pm and we wouldn't want to rush your paw artist at work.
